Bozeman, MT – In response to requests from past students, local memoir writing instructor Anika Hanisch is offering a single half-day writing workshop in Bozeman this January.  Beginner and intermediate writers will receive the tips, inspiration, structural recommendations, and feedback they need to write their personal stories at this intensive half-day session.  Hanisch’s curriculum, Stories Worth Telling: Memoir Writing as a Gift to Loved Ones, helps students complete their writing projects through informative lessons, in-class exercises, and take-home tasks.

A professional ghostwriter and co-author, Hanisch typically offers these local seminars in the Spring and Fall months.  She decided to provide the additional Winter intensive in response to past students who asked for a little mid-winter boost for their projects.  “Often students come to the Autumn sessions to get help with beginning their memoir, then come to the Spring sessions to share the drafts they worked on all Winter,” Hanisch said.  “Of course, January’s intensive will be friendly for someone who is just starting out too; I make sure there’s something for everyone.”

Hanisch helps students explore today’s publishing options, but her curriculum focuses on memoir writing as a private gift to family and friends.  All ages are welcome.  Students may bring existing material or start from scratch.  Details and registration form at: www.anikahanisch.com.
