Looking forward to building more connections in the regenerative agriculture movement, Montana Coauthor founder Anika Hanisch will attend the ACRES Eco-Agriculture Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota this December 9 – 12.  The annual convention attracts organic and traditional farmers, soil health researchers, integrative physicians who are worried about the health risks of conventional food, and many others concerned about how agriculture influences human health and the health of the planet.

“Those are big topics, and they all hinge on whether we view land as a resource to exploit,” Hanisch said.  “Or is it a living and finite ecosystem that we must steward?”

As a veteran natural health ghostwriter, Hanisch has become increasingly curious about farming practices and how they directly influence human health.  In 2018-2019 Hanisch studied “permaculture” (a mix of sustainable farming practices, social equity, and lifestyle design) and earned her PDC through the international Permaculture Women’s Guild.  Attending ACRES this year is an extension of Hanisch’s continuing education and also a chance to meet some of the leading farmers and researchers in regenerative ag.

She hopes to forge new partnerships with these leaders and perhaps brainstorm some new co-writing opportunities too.  She’d love to grow into that space as a regenerative agriculture ghostwriter, drawing from her years of ghostwriting in the natural health world.

Rumor has it, Hanisch is also working on her own book on how biodynamic principles have altered her own life path, and how she’s witnessed these practices bring hope to broken landscapes and sick people on a much larger scale.

Stay tuned!  Big positive changes coming to Montana Coauthor in the new year!
