Anika Hanisch’s company Montana Coauthor was involved in the production of an intriguing book about healthier options for cancer care: Mistletoe Therapy and the Emerging Future of Integrative Oncology. Five of the book’s seven physician-authors provided a panel-based presentation during a live book launch event last Friday. While the live Q&A is now closed, a recording of the panel interview is now posted on YouTube.

The internationally-known integrative oncologist and best-selling author Dr. Nasha Winters gave Anika Hanisch a quick kudos at 1 minute in. We’re not totally sure the book production process was quite as bad as a “forceps birth”, but we do understand that sometimes it can feel that way on the author’s side. (Yes, Anika actually fell off her chair laughing when she heard that line!)

Hanisch worked with seven authors on two continents and coordinated countless other editors and beta readers to help this team complete their manuscript in just over six months. It was a monumental effort. “I am so proud of this author team,” Hanisch said. She feels honored and grateful to have been a part of the project.

“This book is gleaning high praise from the cancer research community,” Hanisch said. More importantly, the authors are already hearing from readers. “It’s already provided life-changing, course-altering advice for cancer patients and their loved ones. So encouraging!”
